Our air purifier distinguishes between the supply air hose and the exhaust air hose. The larger supply air hose is placed close to the dust source and can extract the dust in a more targeted manner. The smaller exhaust air hose prevents unwanted dust swirling when blowing out the filtered air in the dusty work area. It is therefore advisable to use a dust protection wall for extraction.
The hoses enable air to be conveyed over the specified distance. A certain loss of performance due to the hoses is unavoidable.
The construction air purifier has a two-stage filter system with a pre-filter and main filter. The pre-filter protects the main filter from coarse dirt and reduces wear and tear. The pre-filter is more of a disposable product, so it should be changed frequently, even daily in very dusty environments.
The main filter is HEPA 13 certified. Its service life depends on how often the pre-filter is changed and how much dust the construction air purifier is exposed to. Even occasional cleaning of the main filter cannot prevent the fine pores of the filter material from becoming clogged.
As a rule of thumb, the main filter should also be replaced after approximately 10 pre-filters have been used.
An indication that the filters need to be cleaned or replaced is when the red warning light on the control panel of the construction air cleaner lights up. This indicates that the air flow is severely impaired.
The Aeroxx 750 was developed for small to medium-sized rooms. The larger the rooms, the lower the air exchange rate (circulation of the entire room air). To ensure that the air is sufficiently filtered, the air exchange rate should not fall below 10 to 15. This corresponds to rooms of approximately 14-20 m². However, the unit is also effective in larger rooms, but the recommended air exchange rate can be increased at any time by adding a second or third unit.
Formula: Volume flow (750 m³/h) divided by room air in m³ (room length x room width x ceiling height) = air exchange (number / h)
Calculation example: 750 m³/h : 50 m³ (4 m length x 5 m width x 2.5 m height) = 15-fold air exchange
The power output of the socket on the first device allows up to 10 devices to be connected in series. This ensures perfect air exchange even in larger/open rooms.
Construction air purifiers filter dust-laden indoor air during construction work. Since construction dust is hazardous to health, the fine dust that enters the air during grinding or sawing work despite extraction by certified construction dust extractors must also be combated. A construction air purifier is therefore always a safe addition to a construction dust extractor.
Of course, it is also the first choice for freehand or demolition work when a construction dust extractor cannot be used.
When using construction air cleaners, it is advisable to close doors and windows or install dust protection walls in order to achieve a higher air exchange rate. For recirculation mode, the construction air cleaner is placed in the work area and draws air through the filter, but also releases it back into the same room after filtering.
Negative pressure operation achieves the best results, but only works if the room is sealed as airtight as possible (dust protection walls, taping over air vents, etc.).
Negative pressure in the work area is created by extracting the air and simultaneously releasing it into the adjacent room via the hose or by integrating the construction air cleaner into the dust protection wall.
