Original filters offer optimal filtration performance, high dust retention capacity, and a long service life. They are specially designed to match the airflow and motor performance of Starmix devices and help maintain suction power and safety over the long term.

The device and filter are developed, tested, and approved as a systemically coordinated unit. When non-original filters are used, the device approval for safety vacuum cleaners becomes invalid, which may even result in the device being shut down by BG BAU.

That depends on the usage and the area of application. With regular use, we recommend checking the filter at fixed intervals and replacing it if there is visible contamination or reduced suction performance. Only a clean filter ensures the full performance of the device.

At the same time, there are considerable health risks caused by released hazardous dusts if filtration classes are not met. In addition, the approval of safety vacuum cleaners becomes invalid when non-original filters are used, since the device and filter are only approved as a tested system.

The filter efficiency of main filters – especially HEPA filters – is confirmed by type testing in accordance with DIN EN 60335-2-69. Validated testing procedures and strictly monitored production processes ensure consistently reliable and durable quality.

Original starmix parts and filters comply with the applicable quality and safety standards as well as the respective requirements for professional applications. Depending on the product, this includes relevant filtration and safety standards for dust classes and occupational safety, such as DIN EN 60335-2-69 (dust class testing).
