Important Product Safety Information Regarding GS2078 and GS3078 Devices
During a quality inspection, a potential safety issue was identified in certain devices of the GS2078 and GS3078 series. In one isolated case, an internal electrical wire was damaged by a screw, which could potentially create contact between a live conductor and an accessible metal part.
Important: To date, no injuries, incidents, or damages have been reported. However, as product safety and customer protection are our highest priorities, we would like to proactively inform you about the situation and the measures being taken.

Measures Already Implemented
Notification of the incident to the Regional Authority of Tübingen (Market Surveillance Authority).
100% inspection of all devices that have not yet been delivered.
Identification and registration of all stock held by us and our customers.
Coordination with customers regarding whether inspections will be carried out on-site or through product return.
Further Actions in Progress
Design modification of the affected plastic component to permanently eliminate the possibility of this issue occurring.
Coordination with service partners who can perform the required inspections.
Organization of suitable transport packaging for any necessary return of vacuum heads for inspection.
Information for Products in Stock
If you still have new units of the affected models in stock, they can be inspected using the attached dielectric strength test procedure (Hipot Test). If you do not have the capability to perform this test, please contact us by email.
All inspections will be carried out in accordance with the applicable standards EN 50678 and EN 50699.
