ELECTROSTAR/starmix introduces new accessories with a quick-change system

Stuttgart/Ebersbach, 15. April 2026 – ELECTROSTAR/starmix is launching the QUIX product line, an innovative and user-friendly quick-change system for suction hoses with matching attachments. Fast accessory changes save professionals and DIY users time while ensuring a secure and reliable connection to their equipment.

Whether on a construction site or in the workshop: anyone involved in renovation, interior finishing, or working at home knows the challenge—connecting power tools to a suction hose often requires additional adapters due to varying extraction port diameters. With the new QUIX accessories, ELECTROSTAR/starmix now provides precisely fitting attachments in different diameters for power tools. “Adapters are easily lost or can loosen during use, making dust-free work impossible,” says Florenz Stetter, Head of Product Management at ELECTROSTAR/starmix. “QUIX accessories connect directly to the suction hose, eliminating any additional junction where dust could escape.” All QUIX hoses are equipped with the standard starmix bayonet connection, making them compatible with all starmix vacuum cleaners.

Quick-lock system saves time

The QUIX ring at the end of the suction hoses ensures a seamless connection between hose and attachment. “Thanks to the quick-lock system, different attachments can be changed with a single movement—without the need for readjustment,” Stetter explains. The robust and durable equipment is ideally suited for professional use. “Since April 1, we have equipped the entire ISC series as well as the iPulse and Smart vacuum cleaners with the user-friendly QUIX quick-change system as standard,” Stetter adds.
