ELECTROSTAR/starmix provides more convenience with new system

Smart connected - the first universally applicable, cordless automatic switch-on system for vacuums and cordless tools.

Stuttgart/Ebersbach, 19. 05. 2021   ELECTROSTAR/starmix is constantly on the lookout for innovative ideas that make everyday life easier. As part of the product fireworks celebrating the company's 100th anniversary, ELECTROSTAR/starmix is launching a clever duo consisting of Cordless Control and a universal radio-controlled socket. In the future, this will make it possible to automatically switch any vacuum cleaner on and off in conjunction with a power tool of any type .

Gone are the days of bending down to push the on/off button. Cordless Control (CoCo) is an innovative transmitter that connects to either the suction hose or power tool. Using a vibration sensor, CoCo detects the operating status of power tools such as grinders and automatically switches the connected vacuum on or off via a radio signal to the radio socket. Alternatively, the vacuum can also be started by manually actuating the transmitter, which is attached to the end of the hose. This is not only convenient, but also saves energy.
The system is universal, so it can be connected to any battery/power tool on the market and is suitable for any vacuum cleaner model.

The CoCo Sensor is shock resistant up to approx. 2 tons, waterproof, UV resistant and withstands temperatures from -18 to +50 degrees Celsius. It can be mounted flexibly and easily on the vacuum cleaner hose or power tool by means of a fastening strap. The radio connection from transmitter to socket is established absolutely interference-free and reliably in under 100 milliseconds and has a range of at least ten meters. The transmitter is powered by a button cell battery that has a battery life of up to 10,000 hours with the power tool running.
Transmitter (CoCo), radio socket and the fixing tape in triplicate are supplied as a set - a complete package for maximum fast and uncomplicated system setup.
