Stuttgart/Ebersbach, June 13, 2023 – With the new Flexo AP-1420/P-1420, ELECTROSTAR/starmix is launching a jack-of-all-trades for the DIY sector. The wet-dry vacuum cleaner with blowing function is designed for versatile use in the home, garden and hobby workshop.

"Flexo combines many functions in one device, making it perfectly suited for use in the private sector," says Florenz Stetter, head of product management at ELECTROSTAR/starmix, explaining the idea behind the new addition to the starmix WORKS line. "Home and garden, workshop, garage and car: there is hardly an area in which the Flexo could not be used. An absolute asset for our WORKS line in the entry-level price class," says Stetter.
Compact and versatile
With an empty weight of five kilograms and dimensions of 32.9 x 36.1 x 53 cm, the device is flexible to handle. The AP-1420 version also has a power socket with automatic switch-on, so that additional power tools can be connected, for example. This means that no additional power socket is required, especially when working with high levels of dust generation, e.g. when drilling, grinding or sawing. With a hose length of four meters and a power cord length of five meters, its operating radius is 9 meters, one meter more than the basic P-1420 model. Both variants can handle both coarse and fine dirt, dust and liquids. All necessary accessories are included in the scope of delivery.
One for all
Picking up dirt and liquids is not the only area of application for the Flexo wet-dry vacuum cleaner. The integrated blowing function provides powerful support for cleaning work in hard-to-reach places, for blowing leaves or even for drying. "The blow function offers real added value compared to conventional vacuums. Especially for DIY, the function is a useful addition," says Florenz Stetter. With the manual PressClean filter cleaning, constant suction power is guaranteed.
The Flexo is part of the starmix WORKS line launched this year, which was explicitly designed for the DIY and do-it-yourself target group. This makes it the first starmix product segment for use in the private sector.
