ELECTROSTAR/starmix relaunches high-speed hand dryer

Stuttgart/Ebersbach, 22 July 2025 – With the XT 1001, ELECTROSTAR/starmix is relaunching its classic XT 1000 hand dryer: a HEPA filter has been added to the proven interior in a modernized design. The new model is vandal-proof and available in white and brushed steel.

Just like its predecessor, the XT 1001 has a total output of 1000 watts: 500 watts are provided by the brushless motor and 500 watts by the heater. With dimensions of 25 x 13.75 x 17 cm and a weight of 3.8 kg, the XT 1001 has a compact design. “We are offering a space-saving but powerful device with a design that fits into a wide variety of environments,” explains Florenz Stetter, Head of Product Management at ELECTROSTAR/starmix. The XT 1001 has the same drill hole spacing as its predecessor model and can therefore easily replace it without any further drilling work. For hygienic operation, the device is equipped with an infrared sensor and therefore works contact-free.

Vandal-proof housing for public buildings

“The XT 1001 is perfect for all types of public facilities, restaurants, office buildings and so on, thanks to its tamper-proof and vandal-proof design,” says Stetter. One new feature compared to the previous model is the replaceable HEPA filter: It filters up to 99.97% of bacteria, viruses and other particles from the air, ensuring a hygienic environment.
