1925: The comany receives the name: "ELECTORSTAR". The first "warm-air-hand dryer" worldwide is developed and produced.
1928: Electrostar moves to Reichenbach. Already 30 people are employed.
1930: An astonishing 70% of all vacuum cleaners and hand dryers are exported to 49 countries worldwide.
1933: The first upright vacuum cleaner is introduced to the market. The poduction of Kitchen machines for kneading and stirring begins.
1938-1945: The programme is switched to the procduction of special pieces for the bearing industry, machine tolls and electromotors. The production of vacuum cleaners and blowers begins already in May"45. Soon the company counts 150 employees.
1948: The first electric blender, "The Starmix" conquers the rapidly growing market. It becomes a best seller and a symbol of the German Business-Boom. It also founds the new brand name "starmix".
1953: Peter Kotthaus, son in law of Robert Schöttle sen., enters the company. The "Piccolo", a versatile multi purpose appliance which works as a blender, vacuum cleaner and a floor-polisher becomes an overwhelming success and helps to create more than 600 jobs.
1955: The production facilities are expanded drastically. The "Starboy" and "Starmaster" vacuum cleaners are introduced as powerful cleaning equipment to a competivite market.
1959: Robert Schöttle sen. passes away. Hans Schöttle and Peter Kotthaus take over the company ledership.
1960: The "Young Line - Junge Linie" is developed, new and modernized kitchen appliances are established. The MX3 kitchen-machine-program becomes a versatile system, which is completed by coffee-machines and all kinds of household appliances.
1962-1963: The MX4 kitchen machine sets new standards with a concentric propulsion for the high-speed blender as well for its other attachments. The QX hand mixer, a patented quick blender device, ist sold more than a hundred thousand fold, even to the company's competitors.
1966: A new modern administrative building is completing the company campus.
1968: The T5 hand dryer initiates a new era. For a long time it stands as the market leader in its segment. Due to the wide success and fame of the STARMIX brand, all future products of ELECTROSTAR are signed with this prestigious name.
1972: The SM6 becomes a new and successful vacuum cleaner concept. It serves as a pattern (benchmark) for the industry.
1975: The SG 10 and SG 20 industiral vacuum cleaner enforce a diversification for powerful products used in industrial and commercial settings.
1977: Marking the third generation of the family business, Robert Schöttle jun. begins to take over the responsibility for the company's actions.
1978: The robust "All purpose vacuum cleaner" HG6 expands the concept of universally useable products and benchmarks the foundation for future developments. They are equipped with a new electromagnetic filter cleaning system and are able to pick up wet and dry debris.
1979: With the MX5 kitchen machine a new starmix kitchen machine generation is introduced.
1980-1981: Hans Schöttle and Peter Kotthaus turn 60 years old. Robert Schöttle jun. becomes CEO.
1982: The robust Aluminium housing of the T7 establishes the first vandal proof hand dryer of ELECTROSTAR.
1984: With the universally usable ZYKLON vacuum cleaner HG8, which has a streamlined tangent-air induction and a versatile modular platform concept, STARMIX conquers a leading position in the market.
1985: The warm-air-hand dryer program is supplemented to the widest range in the industry. New hygiene and sanitary items mark the successful distribution of products in the hotel and hospitality sector.
1987-1992: Several technology-transfer projects for the production of vacuum cleaners set the foundation for successful contacts in prosperous China. Until 1992 new contact and experiences in Russia are made, in China more contacts are intensified and promising partnerships evaluated.
1994: The ISB garden-vacuum and leaf-blower becomes a huge hit. Within 2 years the tornover doubles.
1996: Electrostar pulls out of the highly competitive consumer oriented household- and kitchen-appliances-market and concentrates its efforts on its core competence "Suck and Blow" and "Air Moves us" in the commercial segments of the market.
1997: Starmix intensifies its export efforts in the Near and Far East. A joint venture in Beijing, China is founded for the production of hand dryers and the products are successfully distributed within the Chinese mainland and overseas until now.
2000: The new commercial- and industrial IS vacuum cleaner is presented and sets new standards for performance and quality. The perfected electromagnetic filter cleaning system in combination with the automated exhaustion of dust-producing electric power-tools sets a new milestone in function and reliability of starmix products. It offers a sustainable success in the highly competitive commercial market environment for craftsman and specialists. The starmix technology and reliability is highly recognized by clients around the globe.
2003: With the Gorovoy-Family and the ALGO-Group a valuable strategic partner is found in Eastern Europe. Until 2007, ALGO takes over all shares of the founding Schöttle-Family.
2008: In 2008 the companies name becomes Electrostar GmbH. The company is lead in new directions by its current CEO Roman Gorovoy. Adapting to new demands, big investments into the product portfolio are made.
2009: New GS "high-perfomance vacuum cleaners" for the commercial, cleaning and manufacturing industry are produced. The TT1800 hand dryers receive a freh design and their energy consumption is reduced and optimized.
2010: To vacuum dust creating electro-power-tools even more effectiv, the ISP series is optimized and sets new standards for a continuous dust-free working environment, without loosing any airstream and suction power.
2011: In the year of the 90th anniversary of ELECTROSTAR, the company and ALGO-Group is expanded with the purchase of the Haaga Kehrsysteme GmbH, which produces and sells high-performance sweepers globally.
2013: The ISP iPulse vacuum series sets even higher standards. Sensors measure the pressure before and after the dust-filter and trigger the complex cleaning-action to ensure a continuous high suctin-power and protect the user from the intake of dangerous dust.
2015: Newly positioned the starmix brand stands tall and progressive with an even higher focus on customer needs. The NSG uClean vacuums follow the long-lasting successful former HS and GS series of commercial vacuum cleaners and bring with new features a fresh new breeze to the starmix product portfolio.
2017: New stars are born. In spring, a new dryer series "Highspeed Compact-Class", consisting of hand dryer, hair dryer with hose and hair dryer on heigth adjustment, comes to the market.
In autumn of the same year the popular iPulse series relaunched: iPulse RELOADED.
After 90 years of corporate tradition at the location in Reichenbach, Electrostar and its sister company Haaga move into the adjacent Ebersbach an der Fils. The move helps to optimize the processes in the company and to shape the corporate culture in a sustainable way.
