ELECTROSTAR/starmix focuses on innovations in sweepers
Interclean 2024
Stuttgart/Ebersbach, 8. May 2024 – From 14 to 17 May, ELECTROSTAR/starmix will be presenting its DuroSweep 77 manual sweeper at the world's leading trade fair for the cleaning market. The first sweeper in the starmix segment ignites the turbo and is designed for professional use on large areas. The company intends to use it to further develop new markets at the trade fair.

‘We are delighted to be presenting our first sweeper from the starmix product range at Interclean,’ says Ralph Burkart, Area Sales Manager at ELECTROSTAR/starmix. The machine is available in the manual Pro version and as a battery-powered Pro 18 V device. Both versions have a two-stage turbo sweeping system consisting of a disc brush and a fine dirt roller behind it. The brush drive is characterised by positive-locking and self-lubricating gear connections and is encapsulated to protect it from dirt. This provides increased protection against damage and increases the durability of the sweeper. ‘The DuroSweep 77 is robustly built and designed for continuous use, for example on large commercial sites. Thanks to the ergonomic push handle and the seven-stage adjustable brush height, it can be used comfortably on a variety of surfaces,’ says Burkart.
DuroSweep tour from the airport to the exhibition centre
To celebrate the launch of the new addition to the starmix portfolio, Ralph Burkart puts the DuroSweep through its paces: On the morning of the opening of the trade fair, he walks the 15 kilometre route from Schiphol Airport to the RAI Amsterdam exhibition centre with one of the sweepers. Burkart is scheduled to arrive on time for the start of the trade fair at 10 am.
Networking and opening up new markets
One of ELECTROSTAR/starmix's strategic goals at Interclean is to open up new markets and business relationships. ‘The trade fair is the ideal starting point for our corporate strategy, which we combine with attractive trade fair offers,’ says Burkart.
