ELECTROSTAR/starmix presents proven portfolio for the catering industry

Stuttgart/Ebersbach, February 2, 2024 – This is the motto under which Intergastra will open its doors in Stuttgart from February 3 to 7. ELECTROSTAR/starmix will be presenting its tried-and-tested products for the catering industry.

"As the inventor of the electric hand dryer, we will of course be at the leading trade fair for the hotel and catering industry," says Johannes Behrens, who is responsible for the sanitary product area at ELECTROSTAR/starmix. "We are relying on our proven portfolio and our 100 years of experience in the field of hand dryers."

At the ELECTROSTAR/starmix stand, Johannes Behrens and his team will be presenting the latest product series in the hand dryer and hand hair dryer segment for the hotel and catering industry. Behrens is particularly keen to dispel an old prejudice: "Especially during the coronavirus pandemic, hand dryers were wrongly denigrated as virus slingers. In fact, the opposite is true and dryers also have a lower ecological footprint than paper towels. Our aim at Intergastra is to raise awareness here," says Behrens.

About ELECTROSTAR GmbH/starmix – a piece of German industrial history that is being continued with great success in the 21st century. The industrious Swabians invented the warm-air hand dryer and achieved world renown with the starmix food processor. Today, ELECTROSTAR GmbH, which has been part of the Algo Group since 2007, stands for innovative technologies, outstanding quality and uncompromising customer orientation. The company sells a wide range of powerful vacuum cleaners for trade, commerce and industry, modern warm air and high-speed hand and hair dryers and has an extensive hospitality product range. Since the acquisition of Haaga Kehrsysteme GmbH in 2012, the product range has also included innovative sweepers. ELECTROSTAR/starmix and Haaga Kehrsysteme merged in 2020. In 2021, the merger with PRODUCTEERS took place under the ELECTROSTAR umbrella. The group of companies employs around 300 people at its sites in Ebersbach and Shanghai and achieved a consolidated turnover of around 69 million euros in 2022.
