Small helper, big effect: Bohrfixx drill hole extraction for flexible working

Product innovation

Stuttgart/Ebersbach, 10.04.2024  Even supposedly small drilling and sanding jobs can release large quantities of dust. In addition to soiling rooms, these also pose health risks, especially in the case of dust containing quartz. ELECTROSTAR/starmix provides a remedy and is expanding its Bohrfixx product range. The new Bohrfixx 60 Plus has an extended extraction surface and can be connected to all standard vacuum cleaners.

"Especially when drilling walls and ceilings, a second person is usually needed to collect the dust directly at the drill hole with a vacuum cleaner. This is why proper dust extraction is often not carried out," says Florenz Stetter, Head of Product Management at ELECTROSTAR/starmix. To enable independent work without unnecessary contamination and health risks, the Swabian vacuum cleaner specialist is launching another little helper on the market: Like its predecessor model, the Bohrfixx 60 Plus can be connected to any standard vacuum cleaner and adheres to the wall by itself thanks to negative pressure.

Flexible and manufacturer-independent application

ELECTROSTAR/starmix has designed the Bohrfixx 60 Plus primarily for drilling work. With a maximum extraction range of 170 millimetres, hinged collection wings also enable the extraction of smaller sanding jobs on ceilings and walls. "The new Bohrfixx can be used with all drilling tools, regardless of length and manufacturer," says Stetter. A rubberized edge allows it to be used even on uneven surfaces. After use, the Bohrfixx 60 Plus can be easily removed from the drilling site without leaving any traces.
