World first: Starmix scales the pinnacle of cordless vacuum cleaners

As a member of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), ELECTROSTAR/starmix is working tirelessly on a cordless future in the trade. With the BATRIX cordless vacuum cleaner, the long-established company has now launched a milestone: the world's first commercial wet/dry vacuum cleaner that does not need a cord at all and can easily keep up with classic vacuums in terms of suction power.
Less cable is more - with the battery-powered wet/dry vacuum cleaner BATRIX, ELECTROSTAR/starmix brings a world first to the market and with it more flexibility and freedom of movement to the workshop or construction site. The special highlight: Cordless Control. As the first product of its kind ever, the vibration sensor on the suction hose detects the operating status of the cordless power tool and automatically switches the vacuum on or off. Two 18 V batteries with 10 Ah allow it to do its work cordlessly for up to 100 minutes.
Battery power tool with record performance
For more demanding cleaning tasks, the same battery charge can also be used for a 20-minute tour de force with maximum suction power. With max. 67 l/s and max. 240 mbar, the vacuum achieves new records for a cordless unit, which means that outdoor applications such as roof and facade work can also be covered, something that has not been possible with conventional products until now.
With the quick charger, full capacity is reached again in under 75 minutes, and thanks to the CAS system, all 18V or 36V battery packs from other Alliance manufacturers can also be used in the meantime.
Automated filter cleaning for the first time on a cordless vacuum cleaner ELECTROSTAR/starmix has also set new standards for the device in terms of filter cleaning: Thanks to the automatic impulse filter cleaning system, never before seen in a cordless vacuum cleaner, the BATRIX keeps itself clean during breaks in operation, thus ensuring an unchanged high air flow. Another new feature of the BATRIX is the brushless high-performance turbine, which, together with intelligent motor control, increases the service life, efficiency and performance of each battery charge.
The BATRIX is full of proven and innovative ideas that further facilitate and improve operation. For example, the site-proven, double-walled 25-liter container with 2 metal swivel casters and rubber cap has proven itself for dust-free transport after work is done.
starmix - a piece of German industrial history that is being continued with great success in the 21st century. The industrious Swabians have been manufacturing vacuum cleaners since 1921 and invented the hot-air hand dryer four years later. In the years of the economic miracle, starmix achieved world renown: the universal starmix kitchen machine became a bestseller that no good household could do without. Today, ELECTROSTAR GmbH, which has been part of the Algo Group since 2007, stands for innovative technologies, outstanding quality and uncompromising customer orientation. Under the starmix brand, the company develops, produces and sells a wide range of powerful vacuum cleaners for trade, commerce and industry worldwide. From the starmix sanitary business field, modern warm air and high-speed hand and hair dryers as well as an extensive hospitality product range complete the portfolio. Since the acquisition of Haaga Kehrsysteme GmbH in 2012, innovative sweepers have also been part of the product range. In 2020, ELECTROSTAR/starmix and Haaga Kehrsysteme merged. The company employs around 200 people at its sites in Ebersbach. The two brands starmix and Haaga generated a turnover of around 41 million euros in 2020.
